בית הסוהר רמון הוא בית סוהר הממוקם כ-15 קילומטרים צפונית ליישוב מצפה רמון, ובצמוד לבית הסוהר נפחא.

מאוגוסט 2024 בית הסוהר רמון, ובית הסוהר הצמוד אליו בית הסוהר נפחא, נקראים מתחם גנות, על שמו של נציב בתי הסוהר לשעבר יעקב גנות, בפיקוד המתחם על שני מתקני הכליאה מפקד בדרגת תת-גונדר.

מתקן הכליאה

בית הסוהר הכיל תחילה מספר אגפים בשנת 2006, והיה כפוף לבית הסוהר נפחא הסמוך. בשנת 2007 הופרד מבית הסוהר נפחא עם השלמת בניית בית הסוהר במטרה לתת מענה לכליאת אסירים ביטחוניים, עקב מחסור במקומות הכליאה בעקבות האינתיפאדה השנייה.

בנייתו של בית הסוהר הסתיימה בשנת 2007, הוא מכיל תשעה אגפי כליאה לאסירים ועצירים ביטחוניים, ואגף אחד אשר מיועד ל-80 האסירים הפליליים המרצים את עונשי המאסר שנגזרו עליהם בבית הסוהר ומשמשים כאסירי עבודה. בבית הסוהר תקן כליאה ל-850 אסירים בסך הכול.

שירותי הטיפול הסוציאלי והחינוך ניתנים לאסירים הפליליים ומתמקדים בהתמודדות עם אי שימוש בסמים, בעיות אלימות במשפחה והליכי השיקום של האסירים לקראת תום ריצוי מאסרם.

כמו כן, ניתנים לאסירים הפליליים בבית הסוהר שירותי חינוך בלתי פורמליים, המתמקדים במתן כלים מתקנים וחוויה מתקנת לאסירים על ידי הפעלת חוגים, סדנאות, פעילויות הווי ותרבות וקבוצות טיפול.

בבית הסוהר כ-220 אנשי סגל, המשתייכים ברובם לתחומי הביטחון, וחלקם לתחומי המנהלה.

על תפקודו של בית הסוהר נמתחה לא אחת ביקורת באמצעי התקשורת, כאשר נתגלו פרשיות הברחה של דברים אסורים לתחומי בית הסוהר.
